PHP Developer- Sydney

Position Description:
If you’re a top-notch developer with a keen eye for UI/UX, and you want to work within a fast paced team where innovation is measured in weeks, not months, come join us.
You will contribute directly to product development.
We currently use PHP (With Kohana – Codeigniter framework But are looking to move to Laravel), Flask, Django, MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Node.JS and much more. On the frontend, we use Twitter Bootstrap and Angular to name a few.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience with PHP / XML / Ajax / MySql
- Experience with Open Source tools and frameworks
- Git or similar version controls system experience
- Strong understanding and application for OOP principles, REST APIs & MVC architecture.
- Experience developing within the LAMP environment.
- Good understanding of security issues in development
- Able to liaise with stakeholders, understand a business brief and design technical specs.
- Computer Science degree or similar level of tertiary education.
- Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines and effectively prioritise multiple, concurrent tasks
Responsibilities:
- Work from day one on new product initiatives that impact our bottom line.
- Contribute everywhere — ideas, architecture, ui, server-side development, processes, and tools.
- Work on all our technology — apps, social analytics, reporting, etc.
